Need a thriller series to binge watch on Netflix

In desperate need of new series to watch, can't seem to stick to anything So need a series that is dark, mysterious and very thrilling to watch. A series I cam binge watch in a day or over a few weeks.

Star Trek series rankings look very different when you average individual episodes

I was digging through IMDb data for all the major Star Trek series, and I noticed something interesting: the overall series rating (the one you see at the top of the page) is often much higher than the average rating of its individual episodes.
When you crunch the numbers, the rankings shift quite a bit:
Average Episode Ratings vs. Series Ratings:
- Strange New Worlds — 7.97 avg episode / 8.3 series rating
- Enterprise — 7.49 / 7.6
- Deep Space Nine — 7.48 / 8.1
- The Original Series — 7.35 / 8.4
- Voyager — 7.33 / 7.9
- The Next Generation — 7.32 / 8.7
- Discovery — 6.88 / 7.0
So if you rank them by average episode score, the order looks more like:
- Strange New Worlds
- Enterprise
- Deep Space Nine
- The Original Series
- Voyager
- The Next Generation
- Discovery
TNG and TOS are beloved and have high series ratings, but their episode averages are dragged down. Especially TNG is dragged down by seasons 1 and 2. Meanwhile, SNW and Enterprise are surprisingly consistent episode-to-episode.
TNG, DS9 and TOS are personally my absolute favourites.

i have been free lately since i recently graduated from college and i want to chill for a year before finding a job. i have watched a lot of tv shows before , i am bad at picking cause i already tried 2 shows and never got passed 3 episodes

What are your must watch shows of this year so far?

I love a mixture of genres like comedy, action, adventure and drama. I don't like anything that is slow otherwise I end up switching it to something else.
My favorite shows is ted lasso and shrinking, the office, tokyo vice and blue maestro.

I've already watched Better Call Saul, Dexter, Dark, and a few other series, and now I don't know what to watch. I'm anxiously waiting for the fifth and final season of YOU, and in the meantime, I'll start watching Ozark. But when I say good series, I mean really good.
Edit: I'm open to anime, two of my favorites are Death Note and Monster

So I already completed watching stranger things, breaking bad, Chernobyl, dark, the office, queen's gambit, the haunting of hillhouse, true detectives s1( heard the other seasons aren't that good) and now game of thrones. Almost all of these were really good and now after watching GOT, need something again to binge watch

Must watch TV Shows?

So, I've mostly watched comedy tv shows (Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Modern Family etc). And maybe some random drama series (House M.D., Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, The X Files) But for the most part haven't really tried a lot of other genres. I'm wanting to try different genres and maybe shows from different places as well.
Animated or live action is fine.
I have watched a decent amount of anime and cartoons. Though if it's something newer, odds are good I haven't watched it yet. Or from before the 90s, I might not have seen it yet.
I'm from the USA. I have a ton of streaming services. If it's on Prime Video I can rent it. Or look elsewhere if I have to.
Old or new series is fine with me. Documentary shows are fine as well.
Feel free to recommend me sitcoms if you want, maybe something newer or from somewhere not in the USA, though. I've watched a decent amount of older sitcoms and mid 2000s sitcoms.
